Intelius’ Recognitions and Current Expansion

Intellius, a leading information commerce company based in Bellevue, Washington, empowers consumers and businesses with important information that allows them to make smart day-to-day business decisions. Due to its innovative services, the 2006 American Business Awards (also known as the Stevie Awards), has hailed Intellius as “Best New Company.”

The company began providing online predictive intelligence to people and businesses in January 2003. One of these services is IDWatch. IDWatch protects customers from identity theft using a real-time warning system that alerts clients of suspicious activities involving their personal information.

Intelius’ Chief Executive Officer, Naveen Jain, has always made it a point that the company’s products and services empower its customers with critical information that enables intelligent decision making. It is small wonder then that the company has acquired well over four million new and unique customers since its inception. The company has also become a leader in the information commerce industry due to the indispensability of it products and the consequent market demand it has created.

Intelius is also among the top 100 most trafficked sites on the Internet according to comScore/Media Metrix. The company was also included in the Inc. 500 company list and named by the Puget Sound Business Journal as one of the top 15 Corporate Philanthropists and one of Washington’s top three Best Workplaces.

Moreover, Intelius has expanded both the size and scope of its employment screening business through its acquisition of IntelliSense Corporation, a Bothell, Washington-based employment screening firm. Aside from increasing the company’s market share, the acquisition is also the latest step made in the company’s current efforts to strengthen the employment screening industry while broadening its comprehensive suite of employment screening services to meet both large and small customer demands.
