During the sixties, the Villa became a true hotel in its own right, managed as before by the Cacopardo family. As much today as yesterday, Villa Caterina is characterized by an unmistakable style, born of the harmony between cordiality, kindness and true Sicilian hospitality.
The interior of the house reflects the family’s passion for this wonderful land: chandeliers and bed headboards in wrought iron, products in Caltagirone ceramics, solid wood furniture in Arte Povera style, Rattan sofas and tables in the sun-drenched veranda. The Villa is surrounded by a most beautiful Mediterranean garden.
During the summer, guests can enjoy breakfast on the terrace, or even in the garden, sheltered in the shade of the olive trees and amidst the scent of the roses and lemons. Breakfast is served as a sweet and savory buffet, with home-made cakes and jams, a wide choice of different teas, and savory specialties such as ham, cheese and omelet’s. Villa Caterina also has a spacious private parking area.
The rooms of Villa Caterina are all of a typical Sicilian charm, with beds in wrought iron, Caltagirone ceramics and wide windows overlooking the splendid Mediterranean garden which surrounds the hotel.
